Seminar on “Enhancing Peptide Delivery: The Multifunctional Role of Lipid-Based Excipients”

October 9

International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council of India (IPEC India) —a non-profit industry association, chaired by Mr Ajit Singh, is organizing a seminar on “Enhancing Peptide Delivery: The Multifunctional Role of Lipid-Based Excipients” by Dr. Alexandre Gil in Collaboration with Gattefosse India on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 15:00 hrs onwards at Scitech Centre, 7, West, Prabhat Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai

Dr. AlexandreGil is PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, covering generic drugs, OTC products, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical contract manufacturing, and prescription specialties. Since 2022, he is leading the pharmaceutical business unit at Gattefossé, with responsibility for global innovation and commercial development of lipid-based excipients.

The session would highlight opportunities to incorporate lipid-based excipients into formulations to enhance peptide stability and absorption. The insight supports the development of advanced delivery systems, meeting growing demand for effective oral peptide therapies.

Key takeaways from this session will be :

  • The way forward in addressing solubility, absorption and GI degradation challenges
  • Deliberation on emerging role of multifunctional lipid excipient
  • A deep insight into efficacy and safety of lipid excipients in enhancing paracellular transport by targeted modulation
  • Innovative solutions for peptide delivery
